THE DETAILS:
- Entry Fee: $89.00 per contestant (79.05 + 9.95 shipping)
- Each contestant will receive a hand-curated box shipped to them, containing a selection of mystery ingredients.
- Your challenge: Create a mouthwatering recipe using ALL the ingredients in your Chopped Box.
- Capture your culinary journey: Take videos or images of your recipe as it's being cooked, as well as the final presentation.
- No restrictions: You can create a savory, sweet, or any other type of recipe you desire, using your preferred cooking method.
- Additional ingredients: Feel free to use any other ingredients you wish, as long as they are accessible in Maine.

Round 1: Three celebrity judges will evaluate each contestant's entry based on two main criteria: visual appeal and creativity in utilizing the mystery ingredients. They will review the videos, images, and recipe descriptions provided by the contestants to assess how well they have executed their dishes. Each judge will assign scores to the entries independently, considering factors such as presentation, flavor combinations, and overall innovation. Top 3 will be chosen April 1st.
Round 2: Humphrey's Cook-Off Team Following the announcement of the top three scorers from the first round, Humphrey's Team, comprised of Nicole, Chad, Jill, and Erin, will take on the challenge of cooking these recipes themselves. Using the instructions provided by the contestants, the Humphrey's Team will recreate each dish to the best of their ability. Once the dishes are prepared, they will be served to a panel of judges, including employees and additional guest judges. These judges will taste each dish and vote for their favorite based on taste, texture, and overall enjoyment. The dish with the highest number of votes will be crowned the winner of the Humphrey’s Chopped Contest. Top 3 will receive a Gift Certificate!
