We want to thank all of our customers and staff for all of the support over the years and especially in 2020 and now into 2021. These are some crazy times we are all living in and our team members have been total rockstars through the entire COVID-19 journey. Our team has been working unlimited overtime fulfilling orders as fast as possible because they know the importance of BBQ and what our products mean to each and every one of our customers.
With all of this being said, in the days, weeks, and months ahead we are forecasting severe supply chain issues with metals, crating materials, powder coating, and other components of our products. These challenges have made it so we have to increase our lead time to 3-18 weeks depending on the unit and component availability. Why such a time spread? This mostly is because of raw materials. We typically purchase such large volumes of raw materials that our suppliers warehouse "allocated" amounts for us and keep these items in reserve stock just in case of a situation like this on a small scale. The issue now is there is no incoming stock or stock availability from our large list of vendors and we are sourcing materials as they become available and are at the top of the list for several raw material suppliers on the East Coast.
We want to be transparent and upfront with all our customers and potential Humphrey Smoker's Owners. Flat Rate Shipping
We would like to offer a flate rate to ship any of our rubs, sauces, tools and accessories. Flat rate shipping is only to the lower 48 states, and some additional exclusions may apply. The freight of all smokers is exempted from this special. If you would like a freight quote for a smoker, please contact us at email@example.com or call us at 207-793-2595.
What size cooker do I need?
The answer to this really just depends on who you are and what you plan on cooking. Will you be competing with your smoker? Holding events? Or just having a weekend bbq on occasion? We have many different sizes to cater to your smoking needs. If none of our smokers’ sizes fit your needs, just give us your own dimensions and we will build to your tastes!
How long does it take to build a smoker?
Our typical lead time is 4-8 weeks (depending on our busy time) but this could change at any time during those weeks. We will try to give you our best estimate of when it will be shipped, but cannot guarantee it. Things come up, and we could end up finishing earlier than we thought or later than hoped. We will keep you updated as we go along.
What are your standard colors?
Weekender and Long Weekenders: These smoker are only available in Textured Black with Stainless Steel Doors
All other Cabinet smokers have the option of Textured Black, Textured Red and/or Heavy Silver (chrome with silver metallic). You can choose any of these colors for the Body, Doors, or Hardware.
We have two options for color upgrades: These 70% gloss colors are $300.00 each. Cherry Red, Royal Blue, Fire Orange, Granny Smith Green, Gun Metal Gray, Yankee Blue, Forest Green and Gloss Black.
If you wish to choose more of a custom color such as metallic, illusion, translucent, granite, etc please visit www.columbiacoatings.com or www.prismaticpowders.com. These custom colors are $500.00 each.
How long does the smoker take to heat up?
This all depends on the size of your cooker. The heating time will depend on your air flow, and if you use a PID or if you use a full chimney of hot coals.
Are Humphrey's Smokers air tight?
No, we build our cookers to a special standard that we have developed with our years of industrial research and design experience that we have carried over into our barbecue products. Our air flow technology in not designed to operate at its peak performance under air tight conditions. What has this meant for our customers? The cooker will leak smoke from certain areas from time to time as it is designed to do and cooks food perfectly. The results from our competition bbq team users reinforce this almost every weekend!

What kind of insulation is used in the smokers?
Our insulation has benefits over several other smoker builders’. It is rated for 1200°F for use, moisture resistant, fungi resistant, higher K value for thermal conductivity than most others, non-combustible to NFPA standard 220, military certified, and it’s the best on the market!
How much is shipping?

Often times we will offer coupon codes for free shipping on ground shipments. Smokers and oversized packages are excluded from this offer. Please email us if you need a shipping quote or would like to receive emails with incentives, news or coupon codes.
Will I be notified when my cooker ships or when it is ready to pick up?
Yes, we will email you a tracking number and the instructions listed here.
1. Please inspect for discrepancies or any damage before releasing the driver.
2. Discrepancies or ANY visible damage, what so ever, MUST be noted on the BOL before the driver leaves.
3. NOTE: If a shipment is received AND signed for without noting damage at the time of delivery, we will not be able to guarantee any refund or replacement.
** You must inspect the shipment before the driver leaves
4. Any additional services provided by the Freight Line (Not included on this BOL) such as Lift-gate, Re-delivery, Re-Consignment or Inside Delivery, etc. will be charged to your credit card on file or added to the Purchase Order.
Can I pick up my smoker at your facility in West Newfield, ME?
Of course! We love to show our showroom off! We offer lots of rubs, sauces and accessories. We will provide you with a current lead time.

Can I pay with my Credit Card?
Yes, We accept: Visa/Mastercard, American Express, or Discover. We also accept checks, money orders, or bank checks. Pay Pal and Personal financing is also avaiable. Please keep in mind that it takes 7-10 business days for personal checks to clear. Once your personal check clears, you will be put onto the production schedule.
There is a $35.00 "NSF" fee charged or maximum fee allowed by law on all returned checks, plus any Attorney’s or collection fees associated with collection of check.
We offer Financing, both personal or commercial!

What is needed to secure the order?
All in stock smokers and coming soon smokers must be paid in full. All custom build smokers require a 50% non-refundable deposit with the balance due upon completion prior to shipping or upon pick up.
Do you offer a warranty?
Our cookers go through a very detailed quality inspection and check list process to make sure all the functions and finishes are to our standards prior to shipping. If damaged during shipping a claim can be filed with the freight company prior to releasing the driver. Our standard warranty policy is F.O.B. our facility at 04095. If you purchased your cooker through our dealer network, please check with them for their policy.
Do you warranty the finish?
Unfortunately we do not warranty the finish.
Can I make changes to my order after I order?
You may. Please contact us as soon as possible to make changes in writing. This may/will increase your lead time.
Can I add a custom logo to my smoker?
You may. Please contact us with your specifications. We'd love to design a logo and send you pricing. Our capabilities are endless when it comes to this custom feature. Our previous work includes LED lighting, Glow in the Dark, Stainless Steel, 3 dimensional, multicolored.
What if I want the door to open in the opposite direction?
No problem. Just let us know when you place your order. We'd be happy to accommodate this feature for you.
